There is no way for you to develop a plan for improving your credit scores without knowing where you stand today. You can obtain a copy of your report via the following:

Check the General Information

  • Name
  • Social Security Numbers
  • Birth Date
  • Addresses

Review the Credit Accounts Listed

  • Accounts that don’t belong to you
  • Deliquencies
  • Late payments, charge-offs or other negative entries that are more than seven years old
  • Verify other potential incorrect notations

Confirm Inquiries

  • Credit inquiries older than 2 years old
  • Hard credit inquiries that you didn’t authorize

Review Collections & Public Records

  • Bankruptcies
  • Lawsuits
  • Judgments
  • Collection redundancies
